Rare 1971 black and white 6.5 x 5 inch personal photo of Count Basie & U.S.I.S. (United States Information Service) Ambassador Harold McConeghey. AS-IS.
Photo taken in Burma (Myanmar) when Mr. McConeghey commissioned Count Basie to play a concert for the locals and a small Buddhist temple in 1971. Part of the United States federal music project. One of only 3 known to exist. Family photo, never circulated. Clean and well-kept, lightly used condition, no major damage or stains.
