2 doll set from Showa Era--possibly 1950's decade because found in old estate sale home with many items from the 1950's.<br><br>12 inches and 10 inches. Solid wood.<br><br>Heads are well attached and since they are tall they make great vintage earthquake detectors by tipping over and making a lot of noise to alert of an earthquake--common in Japan.<br><br>Excellent vintage Japanese décor.<br><br>Showa Era began in 1926. So might have been made before the 1950's.<br><br>Good condition. Looks better with age.
