One of a Kind c.1880 Victorian Hairwork Mourning Brooch 10k Solid Gold<br><br>*weighs 5.31 grams<br><br>*measures 20.77x30.55 grams.<br><br>*gold elements acid tested at 10k solid gold and are unmarked as was common for this period<br><br>*This lovely mourning broach from the late 1800s featuring a tiny lock of the deceased’s red hair decoratively woven. I’m not sure about identity of black mineral. The pin has been repaired, which is to be expected from a broach of this age, unfortunately it was not replaced with a period correct clasp.
