Diligently Framed, it measures approx (17 1/4“ x 14 1/4“). The massacre occurred on King Street, March 5, 1770. Shortly after 9:00 p.m. Captain Thomas Preston and seven British redcoats shot into a crowd of Bostonians after being taunted, resulting in 11 dead and wounded. Three were killed on the spot, including Crispus Attucks, the first Afro-American killed in the American Revolution.
