Vintage Mexican serape blanket featuring vibrant multicolor stripes and a striking diamond pattern. A blend of wool and cotton.
The darker green stripe is wool, all other colors are cotton with a cotton fringe. The cotton fringe is tangled and may need repair. There are light brown and black stains (untested for removal) and a small warp thread issue near the edge. Please see all photos for condition details.
Provenance unknown; acquired from an estate sale with other vintage Mexican textiles.
Colors include: rose, pale yellow, gold, pink, burgundy olive, avocado and light green, grayish blue, periwinkle and dark blue with an ecru base and fringe.
Handwoven craftsmanship.
